Project context
The company Powertis, which promotes photovoltaic projects, required an expert engineering team with local knowledge to carry out the construction of a photovoltaic plant in A Gudiña.
In 2021, Powertis hired Soltec Ingenieros to carry out the basic engineering design for the construction of the solar park in A Gudiña, Ourense province. Once our team completed the basic project, Powertis hired us to continue with the execution project, which was developed in 2022.
This installation, which is so innovative for our community, is an example of Soltec Ingenieros’ commitment to clean energy and the implementation of renewables in Galicia, contributing our experience and knowledge towards achieving energy savings plans and the objectives of the PNIEC 2021-2030. The project is being developed while respecting all environmental parameters and the Red Natura.

Added Value
If the national grid (REE) grants the connection point for the plant, Soltec Ingenieros will have carried out the engineering project for the largest photovoltaic installation in the Spanish Northwest.
The installed power will be multiplied by four, which will also increase electricity generation through the production of photovoltaic energy, demonstrating the viability of this type of installation in our community.
