Work Base 3 (WB3) in Haramain High Speed Line Phase 2 between Makkah-Madinah

Project context
The Saudi Railway Organization (SRO) appointed a consortium of 12 Spanish and 2 Saudi firms to complete the Phase 2 works on the Makkah-Madinah Haramain High Speed Line. To that date, this had been the largest international contract ever given to Spanish companies.
To enable the works, four work bases were built. Soltec Ingenieros was appointed by the consortium on the Work Base 3 project (P.K. 350+750), covering an area of 180,000m².

Detail engineering and sizing of the general services and infrastructures of the “life camps”, accommodating +500 people involved in the project or from the industrial area.
Detail engineering of the running water, air-conditioning and sanitation utilities.

We’ve carried out detail engineering and sizing works according to the Saudi Building Code (SBC), and considering a desert climate zone.
